Hermitage of the Blood

The most important of the city and the one of greater proportions. It must have been built shortly after the expulsion of the Jews, because in 1607 their brotherhood was already installed in it. It has a Latin cross floor plan, with a single nave, covered with a barrel vault. Over the transept rises a slender dome, covered with blue glazed tiles and crowned by a high wrought iron cross. 💡Curiosities Its style belongs to the early Valencian Gothic with a single central nave formed by huge pointed arches, formeros and side chapels located between buttresses. The ceiling is coffered. 🗺 How to get there?
