Wall of the Temple of Diana

It is a construction of large ashlars of cyclopean rigging (V-IV century BC). Traditionally it has been interpreted as the foundation of the Temple of Diana, the only building saved from destruction during the siege of the city by Hannibal in 218 B.C. It has also been interpreted as a defensive construction related to the Republican wall (2nd century B.C.). 💡 Curiosities Since 1963 it has had the status of national monument. 🗺 How to get there?
